Offers a comprehensive review of the structure, purpose, and practical application of the Hawaiʻi Association of REALTORS® Purchase Contract. This course reviews Sections A through T and places emphasis on areas that often generate questions or require deeper understanding, including agency disclosure, property disclosure, statutory requirements, dates, time frames, and other contractual obligations. Instruction highlights how contract knowledge improves accuracy, strengthens representation, and enhances communication with consumers throughout the transaction process.
The curriculum also briefly reviews related HAR Standard Forms commonly used alongside the Purchase Contract, including the “As Is” Condition Addendum, Counter Offer, Dual Agency Consent Addendum, and Buyer Representation Agreement. These discussions reinforce practical awareness of how contract-related issues may arise and how they can be addressed effectively during a transaction.
