This is an advanced-level Purchase Contract course designed for licensees who already have a working knowledge of the Purchase Contract and are ready to move beyond basic contract terms into higher-level strategy, problem-solving, and negotiation.

Participants should be comfortable navigating the Purchase Contract before attending. Those who are newer to the contract are strongly encouraged to first complete Strategies of the Purchase Contract or another foundational Purchase Contract course.
In this interactive course, participants will:
  • Apply a deeper understanding of Purchase Contract provisions to more complex transaction situations.
  • Develop and evaluate negotiation strategies based on the client's goals, priorities, leverage, and risk.
  • Anticipate potential negotiation points and troubleshoot issues throughout the transaction timeline.
  • Strengthen their ability to explain the significance and consequences of key contract provisions to clients.
  • Participate in numerous breakout activities built around different contract scenarios, working with other participants to discuss, compare, and suggest negotiation tactics and possible solutions.
This course is designed to focus less on what the Purchase Contract says and more on how experienced real estate professionals can strategically use, negotiate, and manage its provisions in real-world transactions.
